At the just-concluded Cultural Day Celebration hosted by the Association of Female Comrades (AFC HQTS), Comrade Adeyemo Josiah Kayode, known widely as BILLIONCODES, was presented with an Award of Appreciation for his continued support of female participation in student leadership.

Held at the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria (FRIN), the event had in attendance female student leaders, activists, and stakeholders across institutions. The award was given in recognition of BILLIONCODES’ visible contributions to student development and for standing in strong support of women-led initiatives, advocacy, and representation.

As the current Assistant General Secretary of NANS Zone D (Southwest), his efforts have focused on practical support, collaboration, and capacity-building efforts that have directly impacted many student communities. According to the organizers, the award was not about popularity, but about consistency, presence, and tangible backing especially during moments where female voices needed to be heard.

The event’s theme, “Our Cultural Heritage: Modern Women and the Way Forward,” emphasized progress and participation. In that context, the recognition of BILLIONCODES was both timely and meaningful.

This honour reinforces the value of leadership that listens, engages, and acts without needing a spotlight.
